Are you sad, depressed (about any matter at all) and you want someone to talk to?

Talk to the Holy Spirit. He is the best Comforter that you can have. He is always there to listen to you and He’s never too busy for you. He abides with you forever because Jesus had prayed to the Father.

So, just take a moment (60sec max), close your eyes, and say, “HolySpirit, take away the burden in my heart and fill me with your joy.”
I assure you, you will be filled with the peace of God in your hearts and minds because only the ONE who made you knows how to satisfy you !!

One day a lady called me up desperately and opened up a long list of sufferings she was facing from her husband and mother in law. Everything she told me were complaints about what she was not getting as a wife. She was the only believer at home. She wanted me to pray for a change in them.

As I was beginning to pray, the Holy Spirit told me to tell her that instead of praying for their transformation, pray for a change of attitude in herself towards them. Holy Spirit directed the exhortation to the cross where Jesus was giving His life to those who were trying to take it. They could not take it but He laid it for them! Through that He is still winning lives!! Paul and Silas were beaten and wounded by the jailer. Instead of complaining, they praised the Lord and brought down heaven into the prison. To that man who gave them wounds they served hope! Finally what happened? The jailer himself washed their wounds, took baptism under their hands and took them home and served them meal!

On hearing this the lady reversed her prayer request : ” Brother, please pray for me to be changed. I want to change my attitude to ‘giving’ instead of ‘getting’. Now I understood that it will be me who will be the gainer, thus my Lord and my family will be happy !” So let’s ‘reverse’ some prayer requests too!

Are you letting your failures lure you into distress and loneliness?

From experience, I know, being in failure is a bad state of life where people look down on you as if you are a charity case and look down at you and point fingers at you. It hurts more when your loved ones do this, even though they might be just trying to help you seeing your situation.
But let me put it in a way so that you may know the Truth ,with the help of the Holy Spirit. If you look at the life of Jesus on this earth, He could easily be marked by this world as a failure too. He lived His entire life for other people, doing good for mankind, teaching them, healing them, showing compassion and mercy to sinners etc. But what did He get in return?? He was beaten, trampled and was put to death on a wooden post. An utter failure as per human standards .Even the devil thought for a moment that Jesus was done for. Then again, did He really end up a failure? Maybe it seemed so,… for 3 days! Ha! Ha!

But against all odds and expectations of the people and the devil, HE rose up! HE was made alive!!! Disarming all principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them on the cross. (Col 2:15)

If His death was a big news in and around Golgotha, HIS triumph and the Name “JESUS” was made known to all across the Heavens and the Earth.
“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, of those in heaven and of those on earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Phil 2:9-11)NKJV.

Failure is a relative word .You might be good at somethings and you might be a champion in another .Paul was not a good orator but what he wrote could topple places.!!

Was he a failure? NEVER!! Let’s not compare ourselves with others for YOU ARE A UNIQUE creation! People call you failure because they want a Photostat of what they deem as success ! But, alas! Our Father is not a copycat!! HE is the creator who created everyone unique. So, lift your head up high!!

My dear friend, you can never ever be a failure if you have JESUS inside you!.Failure is no longer in our vocabulary. Instead there is only triumph. Never ever lose hope!

Always trust in HIM, for our Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one (2Thess 3:3). You can NEVER be a failure in Christ Jesus. If Jesus can turn water (failure) into wine (Triumph), He can and will make our situation into a miracle, not just before few people, but instead the world will know our triumph through HIM who strengthens us.

And if anyone (even our own conscience) comes to us reminding of our past experiences, just tell them , ”Wait for the ‘3rd day’ and see what Jesus is going to do through me” !!

We serve a God who is beyond time. Time is what we call on earth in terms of the past, the present and the future. Oh! Time…time…time. We all know the saying- time and tide waits for no man. It’s true… for no man. But the God we serve is beyond what we call time.

We are all where we are today (present), because of the decisions and actions we made in the past. All of us are constrained and bound to this one factor that we don’t have any control on. The moment we are born to this earth, our clock starts ticking where our life is built on. Many of us, at least once have thought to make a change on the decisions we made but we cannot ( regrets, failures, relationships, circumstances). But, there is someone, the man Christ Jesus, the one beyond time, who can go back to your past and turn your bad decisions into a miracle in the present and He will lead you from victory to victory in triumph to your future. The one beyond time, the man Christ Jesus whose very arrival into planet earth split time into A.D and B.C. That’s what will happen if Jesus is the Lord of your Life. Your life will be changed inside out, from your past to the present and into the future.

Suppose on a fine morning an ordinary citizen has been Co opted and raised up to the ministers group of his country! He doesn’t know how to move and behave in that group and also among the ordinary people representing his new position. Now the only thing he can do is to closely watch and imitate what other ministers are doing.

This is exactly what happened to us on a fine morning called Easter; Raised up with Christ and seated with the God head in the super most position!
“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,”
‭‭(Ephesians‬ ‭2:6‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Now what we can do is just imitate Christ and God by the help of the Holy Spirit. That’s why the Holy Spirit gives us commands to do things in Christ standard.

Imitate God, love in Christ’s standard .

“Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.”
(‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Forgive in God’s standard
“And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”
‭‭(Ephesians‬ ‭4:32‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Endure in Christ’s standard
“To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example,that you should follow in his steps.”
(‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:21‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Wow! God sees me in His standard!!

God’s plan about our lives is bigger than we’ve ever imagined. But there is an enemy of God that may work in us to make that plan upside down. That’s our own flesh! “The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.” Rom 8.7 (NIV)‭‭

Flesh is God’s enemy in a situation. It will pressurize us to act or to take hasty decisions before God’s time. Many divisions and separations in families and churches are because of ego problems which is the other name for flesh. If we forgive and wait, we can see God’s hand working for our good. God never acts early or late, but at the right time. “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.” ‭‭

1 Peter‬ ‭5:6‬ ( ‭NIV‬‬) Let us be humble to forgive, and wait and see God working out His big plans in our lives!

Have you ever thought to yourself why people get depressed and fear grips them for reasons they don’t know. I met a girl who came with her mother, totally depressed and lost in her mind. Felt very sad seeing her, as she used to be a very smart, intelligent girl an year ago. Many such stories, these are stories for us, but lives are getting ruined . Have we wondered why? Ambition is good, but not competition. Since childhood we are forced by all to compete with others which burns us on the way. Ambition gives us passion, but competition makes us selfish. Always the’ I ‘ am better attitude and finally a little failure ruins us. We must remember that we are not photostats but originals. There is competition among photostats to look alike or better but original remains unique. God does not have photostats, but every creation is original. Then why compete and encourage our selfishness which leads to fear of failure, depression, negative thoughts etc.

Each one of us are created with a unique gift and when you use that gift for others you will be so happy and will never fear nor will anything negative come near you. No wonder Jesus was different. He did not compete with the religious crowd but saw ways and means to make others’ lives better. Philippians 2:4,5 – ‘Let each one LOOK OUT not only for his own interests, but also for the interest of others. Let THIS MIND be in you which was also in Christ Jesus’.Lets LOOK OUT and see how we can change the lives of others.

How we can put a smile on their faces? Just your smile or a kind word or a kind gesture can change a person’s life. Don’t LOOK IN, but LOOK OUT and change the world, one person at a time. God bless you!!

The creator loved His creation soo much, that He Himself came down to save the creation for eternity. He could have sent an angel to do the mission. But, He Himself took on the mission coz He didn’t want to take any chances or maybe didn’t trust anyone because the creation was too precious for Him.What a love, the unapproachable Spirit God who lived in the Glory wore human flesh for eternity, even the angles could see Him now. He came to the planet He made just to be with His creation. Lived, Died and Rose Again, now anyone who believes unto Him will be saved and will have eternal life. All of this, JUST BECAUSE HE WAS IN LOVE!

Sometimes when a family goes through a challenge and the father is not there, the mother always consoles her children saying ‘Let daddy come. All will be fine’. Everyone is calm as they KNOW that when daddy comes he will set everything all right whatever it is, however worse the situation. This we are talking of a natural family, with a natural father, with all limitations. The bible says- don’t you know your maker is your husband? Also Ephesians 5:22 onwards clearly states a husband wife relationship and the climax is that, it is talking of Jesus Christ as the husband and we the church as HIS wife. HE is God and He HIMSELF takes responsibility for us. Like the mother who waits for the daddy to come to set things right, you don’t have to be worried and wait till he comes because HE has said I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS. HE also made a commitment I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU. WOW!! What a great confidence that HE takes all the responsibility and care that we can have REST in HIM?

Cheer up! You are in HIS prime attention. Rejoice!!For HE is in total control over everything. Look forward for greater things in life for IF GOD IS FOR YOU WHO CAN BE AGAINST YOU? What a loving FATHER, Caring HUSBAND, great FRIEND, everlasting COMPANION we have in Jesus Christ!!

What an amazing honour it is. You are the Extension of Heaven on earth!!

Jesus told us to be witnesses of HIM across the planet. Hallelujah!! Do you know how powerful that is? The bible says, whatever you do in word or in deed do it in the name of Jesus. So, each time you stand for HIM, you unknowingly become the extension of Heaven’s unlimited potential of power, riches, signs, wonders etc. As we lay our hands we dispense the power of God. Each time you stretch your hand in the name of Jesus, you are stretching the potential for that unlimited power. All you have to do is surrender to the will of God, speak in the name of Jesus and let the Holy Spirit do the release of the Power of Heaven.

What becomes a hinderance most of the time is when you try to do it depending on YOUR own strength and YOUR own reasoning faculty. The flesh will always try to give you confidence on your past achievements, experiences etc or discourage you with your past failures ( you have to realise the fact that both are just a random number of chemicals in your brain making you feel that way) .

Don’t try to do things on your own strength or confidence. Just depend on the Holy Spirit. Always rejoice and give thanks to God through Jesus Christ and pray without ceasing.
Let the Holy Spirit lead you so that you can Be an extension of Heaven.
